The daily number of new Covid-19 cases in the UK is falling, a statistic that has come as a surprise to many.
England lifted their Covid-19 restrictions on Tuesday last week, raising concerns among health experts that the number of people contracting the virus would rise rapidly.
Seven days on from that move, the UK recorded fewer than 25,000 new cases - a drop of 15,000 on the week before.
UK correspondent Vincent McAviney spoke to Susie Ferguson.
