Some South Auckland doctors didn't receive a Covid-19 vaccination over the weekend despite leftover doses from the border roll out being available.
The city's DHBs invited some health care workers to get a jab but more arrived than there was leftover vaccine for and they had to turn some people away.
South Auckland GP Api Talemaitoga told our health correspondent Rowan Quinn his colleagues are under the pump, dealing with huge testing numbers and potential Covid-19 cases every day.
