A major survey shows children did more baking and cooking and more outdoor exercise during last year's national lockdown.
The University of Auckland's Growing Up in New Zealand study also found ten and eleven year olds spent a lot more time in front of a screen than they did when they were eight.
The research has been tracking the lives of more than 5000 children born in Auckland and Waikato in 2009 or 2010.
