Fully vaccinated Australians living in New South Wales can expect to enjoy renewed freedoms to visit hotels, restaurants, stadiums, and live music venues from as soon as next month.
New South Wales premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the roadmap out of lockdown yesterday, which will begin from the first Monday after the state hits 70 percent double-dose vaccination.
The state recorded 1,405 new Covid-19 infections yesterday.
It is expected to hit its 70 percent target in the first two weeks of October.
University of Melbourne professor of epidemiology Tony Blakely spoke to Morning Report.
