Nurses are anxious about their workplace safety if the Covid-19 outbreak escalates, believing they're wearing PPE unfit for purpose and that a stretched staff will be placed under excessive pressure.
Their biggest union believes every person who worked in the same ward as an infected nurse at Auckland City Hospital needs to isolate and be tested.
Instead, that advice has only been offered to those who worked the same shifts as the 21-year-old in Ward 65.
