A Covid-19 shadow is hovering over this weekend's Auckland Anniversary holiday.
The mystery continues as to how three people caught the virus at the city's Pullman Hotel.
Epidemiologist Michael Baker told Morning Report he wants to see a far more systematic response to the returns process.
"We should be thinking really about this whole four week period that people have, the week before they get on the flight overseas, their two weeks in MIQ in NZ, and the week after they leave these facilities," he said.
