Now into their fourth lockdown, some Auckland schools are still trying to find ways of ensuring their students can connect to the internet and learn from home.
The government last year connected 45,000 households to the internet and is spending $8 million to keep them connected until the end of this year.
But it is not extending the scheme to more homes.
Education correspondent John Gerritsen has this report.
