M?ori health services in Te Tauihu - the top of the South Island - are connecting with youth through social media in the drive to improve vaccination rates.
In Nelson Marlborough, 16 percent of Maori aged between twelve and twenty-nine have are fully vaccinated and 44 percent have had their first jab.
Those leading the drive are aiming to have 80 percent of Maori rangatahi vaccinated against Covid-19 by the end of the year.
