The US Senate has approved a $1.9 trillion dollar Covid-19 relief bill designed to help Americans impacted by the pandemic.
In a marathon 12-hour voting session on Saturday night, the bill made it through despite every Republican senator voting against it.
The stimulus package aims to fund a federal vaccine roll out, get children back to school and provide financial payouts to families. It still needs to make it through the House of Representatives before it is signed off into law.
