Pigs have the intelligence of a human toddler and are smarter than any breed of dog, which won't come as any surprise for Dunedin farmer Craig Struthers.
He, along with his children, 10-year-old Tessa, and eight-year-old Levi, regularly take their two year-old kunekune boar Pickle out for morning walks with their dog Ted around their neighborhood of North Taieri.
It helps keep their beloved portly Pickle in shape.
Struthers spoke to Susie Ferguson.
