The Government is copping criticism for denying funding to students with special needs and then blocking parents from paying for it themselves.
A mother who has an eight year old son with ADHD and Autism has been told she can no longer fund his teacher aid, in a move she is calling callous.
She's worried about what it means for other families in a similar situation.
