People affected by the border closure marched on Parliament on Thursday to call for help as the shut border leaves families separated and migrants in NZ fearful for what would happen if their visa runs out.
The government has so far refused to offer a road-map, but the Immigration Minister Chris Faafoi told the House he is still looking at ways to bring more people into the country. 
Restrictions were eased a little last month - allowing the families of critical health care staff and a small number of other highly-skilled workers to come here but only if they have more than 12 months remaining on their visa.
Charlotte de Riet-Scholten Phillips, who is the co-president of Fam - the Federation of Aotearoa Migrants which organised yesterday's march on Parliament, spoke to Corin Dann
