There are signs at last that Lydia Ko is returning to her world-beating best form.
Unrivalled as golf's No.1 woman player through the mid-2000s, New Zealander Ko has since dropped outside the top 20, having failed to win a tournament for three years.
That run very nearly ended in California yesterday when she shot a majestic course-record round of 10-under in her final round of the ANA Inspiration, the first major of the year.
It left the former teen sensation runner-up - just two shots behind Thai winner Patty Tavatanakit.
Former New Zealand professional Phil Tataurangi spoke to Corin Dann.
