A lawyer who specialises in ACC claims says that RNZ reports that employees in Hamilton mocking claimants' injuries is symptomatic of an organisational culture that is harsh, disconnected, and lacking in empathy.
Lawyer and co-convenor of ACC Futures Coaliation Hazel Armstrong says that ACC is acting like an insurance company, reducing expenditure as much as possible and treating claimants without compassion.
