The arrival of a long-awaited independent M?ori health authority is picking up pace. 
Associate health Minister Peeni says the draft of an agency tasked with ending years of health inequity is going to Cabinet in the coming weeks. 
One Maori health advisor says providers are ready to make it work, but the authority will need a budget of about $5 billion a year.
