Almost a million people have become eligible for their Covid-19 booster vaccine from today.
From today, the minimum period New Zealanders need to wait between their second injection and their booster shot drops from six months, to four.
The director of public health says she's satisfied with the booster uptake among those who were eligible before Christmas.
