Monday night earthquake strikes of East Coast - a podcast by RNZ

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck off the east coast of Te Araroa last night, giving locals a bit of a fright. The quake struck just after 7.30pm and was felt by more than 7000 people. One of them was Te Araroa local Aomihi Cook, who was on her couch when the quake hit. She spoke to reporter Rachel Thomas.
