Auckland students in lockdown who are struggling to learn without home internet connections.
The Education Ministry says it is spending $8 million to maintain the 45,000 household connections it arranged last year.
But it is not expanding the scheme to more homes and some educators say that's not good enough.
Susan Warren is from Auckland's COMET Education Trust.
