Historians warned the new school history curriculum could hurt and it has.
Moriori say they are pained that the draft curriculum for what will be a core subject from next year mentions them just once.
They say that's not good enough, especially as the school system was instrumental in spreading misinformation about Moriori that has persisted for a hundred years.
