Lab scientists are warning the country's diagnostic testing services could be quickly overwhelmed if the Covid-19 Omicron variant spreads as quickly here as it is in New South Wales.
The Government is being urged to heed the lessons from Australia's Covid-19 testing debacle, where there are long delays for PCR swabs and a shortage of rapid anitgen kits.
