A Northland business leader was surprised to see trading continue at many shops and companies in the region immediately following news of a Covid-19 community case.
Northland Chamber of Commerce chief executive Steve Smith feared business would grind to a halt on Monday, believing much of the workforce would choose to stay at home to isolate.
