Pacific Islands are relieved that New Zealand has finally delivered on a climate pledge made six years ago.
New Zealand's promise of $1.3 billion over four years to countries most vulnerable to climate change is part of the commitment it signed up to in the Paris Climate Agreement in 2015.
At least half of the money is to go to the Pacific.
