Painful wait for news from Nomuka - a podcast by RNZ

One of the isolated Tongan islands without communication is Nomuka.
It has one of the closest villages to the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano, just 70 kilometres to the north-east.
The New Zealand Defence Force released one photo of a flyover of the island yesterday.
Lavinia Faleofa's uncle, cousin, and in-laws live there, and she says Nomuka is unrecognisable in the photo.
Lavinia Faleofa told RNZ reporter Sam Olley that her family in Nomuka normally call every day - they last spoke on Friday.
