A health sector leader describes as abhorrent any suggestion that drug buyer Pharmac may end blanket funding of all children's cancer medications.
Pharmac may end the current funding arrangement after an accusation of discrimination by an advocate for children with spinal muscular atrophy.
Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand head Peter Fergusson says Pharmac seems to have lost its moral and ethical compass.
