David Seymour has overtaken Judith Collins as preferred Prime Minister in the latest 1News Colmar Brunton Poll.
Both major political parties have taken a hit, with Labour and National both dropping three percentage points at 43 percent and 26 percent respectively.
ACT has increased by five percentage points and is on 14 percent.
The Green Party are steady at 8 percent, while New Zealand First is up two on 3 percent.
Jacinda Ardern is sitting at 44 percent as preferred Prime Minister, with Seymour on 11 percent and Collins on five.
Political editor Jane Patterson says this is a huge blow for National.
