Franz Josef and Fox Glacier communities have been given the blunt message the government can't save every business that's struggling during the pandemic.
Tourism Minister Stuart Nash visited the communities after they sent him a $35 million wish list of what help they wanted to keep them afloat.
He didn't make any promises yesterday but Across Country Quad Bikes manager Dora Falconer told reporter Tess Brunton what she thinks is needed.
