The Wellington-based manager has been spending every available minute following what he calls the "total roller coaster" that's Eastern Europe.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine has seen him experience a gamut of emotions, from despair on the first day of carnage to confusion the next to a dash of unexpected optimism.
