Hawke's Bay is so hot right now - temperature-wise at least.
The region has been basking in excessive warmth over recent days, and a couple more like them will officially have it as being in the midst of a heatwave.
NIWA meteorologist Chris Brandolino has been keeping a weather eye on the region.
