Wellington Airport expansion gets conditional approval - a podcast by RNZ

Residents living near Wellington International Airport are considering their options now an independent commission has been given conditional approval for a massive expansion.
The plan - intended to accommodate a forecasted doubling in passenger numbers by 2040 - is set to cost about one billion dollars and gobble up half of the neighbouring golf course.
Residents' group Guardians of the Bays opposes the expansion.
Spokesperson Benoit Pette and Eastern Ward councillor Sean Rush spoke to Morning Report.
