People living along Wellington's south coast are being urged to be packed and ready in case they need to evacuate their homes. Heavy swells and strong winds are causing chaos across the region this morning as a polar blast rages its way up the country. Wellington Region Emergency Management Office says those living along exposed coastlines should be prepared for potential property damage, debris and road closures. Acting regional officer Dan Neely spoke to Susie Ferguson.
