A Wellington woman is devastated her application for an urgent protection order has been delayed because the court didn't tell her a hearing date had been set.
The woman - we're calling 'Trish' - filed the application fourteen months ago, but won't step foot in court for at least a few more now.
It's another delay that's left her feeling frustrated and disillusioned with a system that's supposed to be helping her.
