Educator, Te Ataakura Pewhairangi was brought up in te ao M?ori, and her home language was and still is te reo M?ori. She has completed a Bachelor of Arts and teaching degree entirely in te reo M?ori and is currently completing a Master of Arts, majoring in M?ori studies at Massey University.
