When you don't measure up, are you upset?

Compare what you have done as causes with others, you are embarking on the path to growth.

However, compare what you have squired as results, you are opening the door to afflictions.

We get lost in comparison with others such that we take the route we don't wish to take, and we live someone else's life.
If you compare only to show your capability and to gain affirmation, you will be sad and frustrated when encountering those who are more able.

If you compare to improve your own capability, however, you will be happy to meet those who are more able as you can learn from them.
