"Most men lead lives of quiet desperation," is a line attributed to the philosopher, Thoreau.  Many people do suffer enormously in silence because they fear the judgment of others.

Nowhere is this more true than among the mothers (and fathers) of addicts, those parents who agonize as they see their children descend into a horrible pit.

Kathryn Inman is the author of a new book which is receiving such glowing reviews.  Her book is called Counting Spoons: A Memoir of Heroin, Heartache, and Hope.

This podcast is an interview with Kathryn.  It is for all the hurting families of people trapped in addiction.  There is hope. Jesus can and will save.
