This week, Ted Long, the VP for Primary Care at NYC Health + Hospitals joins us to talk about how we can make primary care better for patients and for physicians at various levels of scale. He previously served as the Senior Medical Officer for the Quality Measurement and Value-Based Incentives Group at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which covers over 20 federal programs including the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), the Hospital Readmission Reduction Program, and the Hospital Value-Based Purchasing Program. Earlier, he served as Medical Director at the Rhode Island State Department of Health. He is a practicing primary care physician and is also on the faculty at the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care.
