Joe Hicks is an African American member of Project 21, a conservative group of African Americans. Hicks from the 1960's-90's was aligned with the "orthodoxy of the left - liberalism." Today Hicks identifies himself as a political conservative. Has been a guest on the Fox News Channel, CNN, NBC, etc. His opinion columns have been printed by the Washington Post and for three years he hosted a daily radio show in Los Angeles.
