Special Edition of our podcast series - a conversation recorded remotely during COVID-19 lockdown. I speak with 2 key digital health leaders who have been following the #rsmdigihealth threads online during the pandemic. Dr Sam Shah has worked for many years at NHS England and was Director of Digital Development at NHSX until recently. Sam is now a digital health advisor and working frontline as a clinician during the pandemic. We are also joined by Stephen Bourke who is a founder of Echo, the NHS pharmacy app that delivers medications to your door and Stephen is also a NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow. Sam and Stephen give their insights on how clinical medicine and pharmacy have rapidly adapted during the pandemic and how innovation has been accelerated.
We discuss whether or not the NHS is coping with the demand during the pandemic, and how digital health is accelerating in this unprecedented time. Find out more about the RSM digital council: https://rsm.ac/dhsection Follow us: #RSMdigihealth
