Two-time Melbourne Cup winning jockey Corey Brown has called time on his illustrious career, unable to recover from a serious back injury.The 44-year-old hasn't ridden in nearly two years following a fall in the Queensland Derby at Eagle Farm in which he shattered the T7 and severely damaged the T4 vertebrae. Brown had surgery to repair some of the damage but his recovery hasn't gone to plan and he will require a spinal fusion to ease some of the pain
