"There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen" as Lenin said. Well, there's also years that feel like a lifetime, and 2021 was one. In an act of collective therapy, we have an in-person panel discussion reviewing the year and more generally looking over lessons we can draw from the past 21 months of Covid.

Paul Murphy drops in once more, and we are also joined by special guest Conor Reddy. We talk about the changing world of Irish politics, the never-ending nightmare of Covid and the first throws of the 'Great Bo Burnham Faction Fight of 2022' are recorded for posterity. We also cast our eyes forward to what next year can hold, challenges and opportunities for the left, and we even give some Christmas present ideas for the red in your bed (or otherwise in your life).

Thanks to Connolly Books for letting us record in their bookshop in Temple Bar, we hope to be back in the future for full live shows.
