The Kings went in Philly on Wednesday and were thoroughly punked by 76ers. Joel Embiid got the entire Kings big man lineup into foul trouble in the 1st quarter, causing them to be timid for much of the game for fear of getting their 3rd or 4th fouls. That trickled down to the rest of the team as they settled for long jumpers instead of attacking the rim. On the other side, Joel Embiid simply overpowered the King's frontline and James Harden ran the offense to near perfection, setting up guys left and right on route to a dominating win over the Kings.

Despite the demoralizing loss in Philly, the Kings rebounded the next night in Toronto, both figuratively and literally. The Kings, despite being on the 2nd night of a back and losing Mike Brown in the 3rd quarter because of an ejection, the Kings fought hard, attacked the rim, made shots from the outside and controlled the boards. It's an impressive and gutsy win from the Kings, who had all the excuses in the world to lose this game.

The Kings are now 2-3 on this East Coast road trip and now head to their final game of the road trip in Detroit to face the Pistons on Friday. Even though it's the Pistons, any team can get hot in the NBA and steal a game so the Kings need to bring their A game on Friday to close out this road trip strong.
