It was Kings appreciation Monday, all of the National NBA Media decided to band together and give the Kings praise for their terrific season. They also couldn't wait for the Kings to take on the Bucks in what was anticipated to be a fun matchup between the best offense of all time vs the best defense in the league. And boy was it a banger. The Kings got a big lead playing their fast paced, up and down style and nailing a ton of 3s.

But the Bucks in the 2nd half slowly started to grind the Kings down with their physicality and got back into the game. And in the 4th quarter, the King's defense just wasn't enough to slow the Bucks down and they ultimately fall on their home floor. It was a valiant effort from the Kings and a few plays here and there that could have changed the outcome, but the Kings defense remains an issue when the offense isn't perfect. That being said, it's not the end of the world that they lost to arguably the best team in the NBA, and this game could even be seen as an indicator that the Kings are as dangerous as advertised.

There was a late game scuffle with Trey Lyles and Brook Lopez that could lead to suspensions. While it is never good to resort to violence, this incident is another sign that the culture of the team is different. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is a topic that is up for debate.
