Kings vs Hornets 12/19/22, Kings loss an ugly one at home - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

The Kings lose a bad one against a terrible Hornets teams on the 2nd night of a back to back coming from Denver. Coming into this game, everything was in the King's favor, they had just closed out of their road trip winning their last 2, they had 2 days to rest and recuperate in Sacramento, and the Hornets were on the 2nd night of a back to back. 

The Kings should've smelled blood and finished them off early, instead they were a step slow, played with little intensity, and they forgot what defense was. The Hornet came out and scored in bunches and got comfortable. They would carry that throughout the game and the Kings had to play catch-up for almost the entire game. And in crunch time, the Kings simply couldn't put together consistent stops and scores, and fall to the Hornets.

Make no mistake, it's a bad loss, a terrible one at that. The hope is that this game gives them a reality check and they come out the next game with the right focus and intensity against the Lakers. The Kings have 5 more games at home against beatable teams, let's see if they can take advantage.
