The Kings go into LA and beat the Lakers in a game where defense was optional, and whoever blinks first on offense would lose. The Lakers were not able to score on key possessions in crunch time and De'Aaron Fox was, so that's why the Kings pulled it out.

The game was ugly to start for the Kings as they couldn't hit shots and the Lakers took control early. But they rebounded and built momentum going into halftime and carried that over into the 2nd half which made the rest of the game a back and forth fast-paced battle until the final few possessions.

It's good to see the Kings be able to take care of business against a bad team such as the Lakers, but it's not great that they clearly played down to the level of their competition against a short-handed Lakers team. But at the end of the day, a win's a win and the Kings now move to 5-6.

Next up: Warriors at home on Sunday. Can the Kings get payback for Monday's loss in San Francisco?
