Kings vs Lakers 12/21/22, Kings rebound with win against depleted Lakers team - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

The Kings welcomed the Lakers into Golden 1 Center for the 1st time this season and get a much needed win after the demoralizing Hornets loss. The Lakers were without the services of Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Austin Reeves and Juan Toscano Anderson, which just isn't going to be enough for a fully healthy Kings team who simply took care of business.

It wasn't pretty at times, but the Kings got going in the 3rd and built a big lead they never relinquished. Even when the Lakers threatened, the Kings punched right back and completely shut the door on the Lakers in the middle of the 4th. 

The Kings needed this win to get back on track, Monday was a reality check for the Kings. They learned the hard way that they cannot come out flat for games and expect to win against NBA teams, and the hope is they took that lesson to heart and grow from it.

Next game is against the Washington Wizards on Friday in the G1C, who will be on the 2nd night of a back to back. Let's put to the test if the Kings have learned their lesson.
