Kings vs Lakers Preseason 10/14/22, Kings waive Sam Merrill, Jeriah Horne and Alex O'Connell, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins sigh extensions - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

On a beautiful Friday evening in Sacramento, Podcast Hosts Owen and Fong went down to the Golden 1 Center to watch their 1st Kings game this season and for the 1st and 2nd time respectively, see Lebron James in person. But not only did they get to witness The King in person, they also witnessed The Sacramento Kings take the Los Angeles Lakers to the Smackdown Hotel as they took the game by 47 POINTS!!! Just barely missing out on beating them by 50!

Just about everything fell in place for the Kings and very little went the Lakers way and now Owen and Fong have finally broken their near 4 year streak of witnessing a Kings victory live in the Golden 1 Center.

In addition, it was announced the next day that the Kings had waived Sam Merrill, Jeriah Horne and Alex O'Connnell, which brings their roster down to 17 (Including Keon Ellis and Neemias Queta). This will likely be the roster that the Kings are going into the regular season with.

In other news, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins sign lucrative new extensions with the Warriors, making them part of the Warriors core going forward.

And finally, best of wishes to a speedy recovery for both Nate Robinson and Dikembe Mutombo who are battling renal kidney failure and a brain tumor respective.
