Kings vs Pelicans 11/22/23 - Kings lose again to the Pelicans after a hard fought effort - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

The Kings faced the Pelican for the 2nd time and it was unfortunately a lot of the same. The Pelican's size, physical and defensive pressure really bothered the Kings who struggled again to hit shots and defend without fouling.

Then the 4th quarter began. Trey Lyles in his first game back hit three 3s to give the Kings life and they made it into a game and at one point even took the lead. They eventually ran out of gas but it was encouraging to see them fight so hard to dig themselves out of a deep hole.

This once again demonstrates the Tale of 2 Kings, you have the Kings Team who's offense was stuck in mud for the better part of 2 and half quarter, struggling to handle the physicality and length of the opposing defense. But then you have the Kings Team who only need that one little spark to give their offense life and all of sudden, they're one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

Let this game be another lesson in adversity that the Kings learn from that they can grow into the team can find success in April, May and possibly even June.
