Kings vs Rockets 2/8/23, Kings escape Houston with an improbable win, massive Lakers-Timberwolves-Jazz trade, Suns get KEVIN DURANT! 🤯 - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

The Kings escaped with one here, after trailing by 5 with less than a minute to go, the Kings came up with a series of defensive plays to get back within 1 after not playing much defense all game. They miss a series of shots at the rim, the play ends with a jump ball, Keegan wins it but the ball is batted out off the Kings. The Kings then steal it back on an inbounds and improbably draw a 3 point foul on Fox by Gordon to win the game by 2.

To say that the Kings escaped with the skin of their teeth is an understatement, but the Rockets gave every opportunity for the Kings to get back into the game, and the Kings took it. The Kings end their road trip with a solid 4-3 record, 8 games above .500 and now head back to Sacramento after their longest road trip of the season. They will face the Dallas Mavericks on a back to back in the G1C on Friday and Saturday.
