Kings vs Sixers 1/29/22 Postgame, Kings out of the Simmons sweepstakes, Sixers quiz and WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Review - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

The Kings came out strong against the Sixers, showing a defensive attentiveness and intensity that hasn't been seen since early in the season. They smothered Joel Embiid and forced a bunch of turnovers that led to easy scores on the other end. In the half court, they moved the ball and played a brand of team basketball that would make James Naismith proud. But then the 2nd half game, and the Kings cease to do what worked in the 1st half, they stopped moving the ball, the players started standing around, and the Sixers started to figure them out and slowly crept back into the game and take control late to win the game, despite the brilliant effort of Haliburton to try to steal this game. It's the story of the Kings this season, they show up against the upper tier teams, but it's usually not enough as they don't exhibit the type of mental toughness and attention to detail needed to beat a good team like the Sixers. The Kings have now lost their 6th game in a row and are somehow still looking for answers to "turn the ship around." A hope that is fleeting by the day as the Kings continue to stack losses together.

Here's to hoping the Kings can make a substantial trade at the deadline, but it will likely not be Ben Simmons as it was reported by Woj that Kings are out of the Simmons sweepstakes and will focus on other trade targets. Who will the Kings be looking to trade for ...
