Another tough loss at home against a tanking team for the Kings as they fall to the Spurs. It’s another game in the G1C where the Kings struggled from 3. While they had 11 makes, it was on 44 attempts and they missed SSSOOOO many open ones. And when the offense isn’t hitting shots, their defense has to be on point, and yea … that didn’t happen.

Credit to the Spurs for being a stingy team that played hard as hell and mucked the game up for the Kings. But the King’s inability to lock down on the defensive end is why they lost this game. We’ve accepted that this is just who they are at this point, and if their offense isn’t on point (which is crazy to say considering they still scored 134 points), it’ll be tough to see them make any noise in the playoffs.

On the bright side, we can legitimately say that the Kings are too good to be losing to a team like the Spurs. In spite of the loss, they are firmly a top 3 seed that is still in the running to win 50 games, it’s not the end of the world.

And to end the episode, Owen goes over what he thought of Wrestlemania 39 Nights 1 & 2.
