Kings vs Wizards 12/23/22, Kings lose another ugly one at home against Washington - a podcast by Owen and Fong Legacy

What was supposed to be 3 gimme games at home against 3 struggling teams have not gone according to plan for the Kings this week. The Kings go 1-2 on this 5 game homestand thus far with an embarrassing blowout loss to the Wizards who were on a 2nd night of a back to back coming from Utah the night before.  The Kings let the Wizards get comfortable and confident, blowing the game open by the beginning of the 2nd quarter and the Kings weren't able to close the gap for the rest of the game. The Kings didn't bring it at all on the defensive end and their offense took a step back as well. Hopefully this is another wake up call for the Kings that any team regardless of record can bring the smackdown to the Kings on any given night and they need to come with the right mindset and focus win these kinds of games. As it is now, they need to get it together on defense because they can't let teams do whatever they want on the offensive end, especially on a night like this where the offense wasn't there either. Next up will be the Denver Nuggets and the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic coming into the G1C for a 2 game back to back and you really hope the Kings bring their defense or it's going to be a really long night ...
